Hotels, Banken und Kreuzfahrer – was will man mehr? Es gibt auch positives: ein langer schoener Sandstrand (leider mit vielen Hotels und „Wassersport“), die Korallenbloecke vor dem Hafen von Georgetown – ankern darf man dort sowieso nicht, es gibt einige Bojen. Ja und dann noch das kuriose Ein/Ausklarieren im Hafen. Da gibt es ein kleines Hafenbecken gleich neben dem „Containerhafen“, bestehend aus South Terminal und North Terminal.  Zoll und Immigration sitzen im North Terminal(South Terminal ist leer), also eigentlich ist es ja kein Terminal, sondern nur ein winziger Buerocontainer. So richtig interessant macht den Hafen aber die kleine Bucht, dort laueft schoen die Welle rein und zu allem Ueberfluss ist mitten drinnen auch noch ein Felsen.

Hotels, cruising boats and banking offices – thats Grand Cayman. There is nothing spectacular on the island beside the corals in the harbour of Georgetown and the nice sandy seven mile beach. Oh yes, there is something else: the customs check in which is located at the so called „North Terminal“ which is just a container, in a small bay. Opposite is the „South Terminal“ which is abandoned and right in the middle oft he bay is a rock. To make it perfect the swell rolls into the bay so most of t he time customs will answer  „no check in today due to weather conditions“ on the VHF.
