Karpathos No 2

Heute sind wir mit dem (armen) Mietauto kreuz und quer ueber die Insel gefahren, alles noch ohne Touristen.

We rented a car today and saw a lot of the island. One of the pics does NOT show the Karakoram highway!

Karpathos

Wir hatten eine recht stuermische Ueberfahrt von Tilos nach Karpathos, eigentlich wollten wir nur ein paar Meilen nach Chalki, aber der Wind war dann so gut - also sind wir 60sm runter nach Pigadia gesegelt. Die Onotoa ankert am Steg des Hauptorts der Insel, neben uns ein Schiff aus der Schweiz.

We had a stormy trip down to Karpathos, we started to Chalki, which is just a few miles from Tilos - but then we decided to go for Pigadia direct, so finally we had a little over 60sm that day. Now Onotoa is anchored right next to a Swiss boat in Pigadia, which is the main harbor of Karpathos.
