Fruehling / spring

Wie versprochen ist unser neuer Windschutz jetzt fertig und rechtzeitig zu den griechischen Osterfeiern werden wir wieder in Nisyros sein. Die fruehlingshaften Blumenwiesen sind wie ein bunter Farbklecks in der sonst doch kargen Landschaft.

The windshield is ready now so we are back in Nisyros for the easter celebrations. Is always nice to see the flowers in Greece and Turkey, even if the weather is still quite cold we enjoy this time of the year.

Immer wieder faszinierend die Burg hoch oben am Felsen ueber Astypaleia - und die Admiralin im Hafen der Stadt.

Fascinating again the old Castle on top of the town of Astypaleia, see also the Admiral in the port of the town.

Nisyros + Astypaleia

Wieder einmal - auf der Insel unserer Hochzeitsreise, auch das Hotel gibt es noch. Damals waren wir aber ohne Boot, dafuer mit Rucksack unterwegs.... und wir sind immer noch verzaubert.....

Again at Nisyros and Astypaleia, the island where we spent our honeymoon some years ago, instead by sailboat we had travelled with the rucksack....and we are still inspired....

Astypalaia

Wieder einmal sind wir auf unserer Lieblingsinsel Astypalaia und die Chora mit dem Kastell auf dem Felsen begeistert uns immer aufs neue. Es ist auch die einzige Insel im Dodekanes, welche den Ortskern nicht am Meer hat, sondern so wie alle Kykladeninseln auf einer Bergkuppe. Der selbstgemachte Apfelstrudel hat hier besonders geschmeckt......

Again we are at Astypalaia which is our favorite in the Aegean. Its the only island in the Dodekanesse with a Chora - which means that the city is built on the top of a hill like on all the Cyclades islands. Sure that our homemade Apfelstrudel tasted great here......

Der Wind war wieder mal gut fuer Astypaleia und Michi konnte sogar kiten.

We again had good winds for Astypaleia and Michael had a great kite session.

wieder allein - alone again

Wir haben uns über alle Besucher sehr gefreut, jetzt sind wir wieder einmal ganz alleine unterwegs und die Onotoa ankert im Hafen von Astypaleia.

We had a good time with all our guests the last few weeks, now we are alone again and Onotoa is on anchor at Astypaleia.

Vor 24 Jahren waren wir hier auf Hochzeitsreise, mit unseren lieben Freunden Peter+Monika haben wir jetzt wieder eine schöne Zeit hier verbracht, wir sind aus Santorin über Anaphi nach Astypaleia und wieder zurück nach Anaphi gesegelt und hatten immer viel Wind.
24 years ago we had been to Astypaleia on our honeymoon vacation, now we spent some days here again with our good friends Peter+Monika. We sailed with them from Santorini via Anaphi to Astypaleia and back to Anaphi and we always had strong winds.
