Nach der Fahrt mit der Cobia hatten wir 2 Tage Pause in Papeete, dann gings mit Air Tahiti Nui nach Auckland/Neuseeland. Die 10 Stunden Transitzeit haben wir zu einer Stadtbesichtigung genutzt, wir sind wir mit dem Bus in die Stadt gefahren und waren dann auch noch im Marinemuseum. Dort ist der Anker der Bounty ausgestellt und da Segeln neben Rugby Nationalsport der Kiwis ist, auch vieles über die Idole der letzen Jahrzehnte, Roussell Coutts und Peter Blake.
Weiter sind wir mit Air New Zealand nach Shanghai und nach drei Stunden Aufenthalt mit Austrian Airlines nach Wien. Ich denke auf den Bildern seht ihr genau warum wir NICHT nach China segeln werden.
Two days shopping in Papeete and a perfect flight on Air Tahiti Nui to Auckland - we only had 10 hours transit there so all we could do was a Auckland downtown tour which included a visit at the maritime Museum. The anchor of the HMS Bounty is there as well as many relics of Peter Blake, Roussell Coutts and the 1995 victory at the "Americas Cup".
I think on the pics below you can see why we dont want to sail to China in future.....
