Grenada / Prickly Bay

Auch Grenada ist schon im vorweihnachtlichen Trubel, sogar Lindt Schokorentiere gibt es im Supermarkt. Jetzt ist auch die Zeit der Kreuzfahrer (hallo Doris!) und deren Dampfer parkt fast in der Innenstadt. Beim Marinehaendler in der Prickly Bay haben wir uns ein neues Dinghy gekauft., das alte Plastikbeiboot hat uns  6 lange Saisonen begleitet,  jetzt kommt es als Notreserve in den Ankerkasten. Unser neues AB9AL wurde in Kolumbien (!)  produziert, hat einen Aluminiumboden und ist nur 36kg schwer.

Even Grenada has lots of Christmas celebrations, you can  find Reindeer styled Swiss chocolate in the supermarket. From the local Budget Marine store we got our new AB9AL aluminium dinghy which only weighs 36kgs. Its made in Colombia and replaces the old plastic Quiksilver dinghy which we transported  over the last 6 years all the way from England to the Med and from Greece to the Caribbean.
