Bequia-St.Lucia-Martinique

Einige Tage auf der kleinen Insel Bequia waren sehr schön, danach sind wir mit Sonne und Regen an St.Vincent vorbei nach St. Lucia gesegelt. Wir haben nochmals in der Marigot Bay übernachtet und sind dann weiter in die Rodney Bay. Dort haben wir uns mit dem österreichischen Honorarkonsul getroffen, um ein für unsere Firma in Wien notwendiges Formular zu bestätigen. Auch an dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank an Konrad Wagner für seine nette, rasche und unbürokratische Hilfe – wir werden  noch lange   an seine paradiesische Calabash Cove denken! Mit gutem Wind sind wir dann weiter nach Martinique und hier sind wir wieder im Supermarktkaufrausch, so eine Auswahl haben wir seit  Grenada nicht mehr gehabt.

We relaxed a few days at Bequia and sailed from there to St.Lucia, squalls and heavy winds all the way. We again stayed overnight in Marigot Bay ( we had been there last year) and sailed to Rodney Bay, where we met  Konrad Wagner, the honorary consul of Austria in St.Lucia. He was great help to get my signature officially  legalized, this was needed for our company in Vienna. A nice day sailing with good winds to Le Marin/Martinique and here we stocked up in a big supermarket, they even have a dinghy dock so you can imagine how overloaded our new dinghy was....it's a french island, so we paid in euros and got wines and cheese as well as fresh tropical fruits.
